SUMMER READING

The summer reading assignments for grades 9-12 are as follows. Grades 9 and 10 are assigned one book; grades 11 and 12 are required to read two books. Students will be tested on these books when they return in September. It is suggested that students take notes on these books relative to characters, story line, setting, point of view, theme, etc. as they read so they can refresh their memory prior to taking the tests in September.

GRADE 9: The Glory Field by Walter Dean Myers

GRADE 10: Our Town by Thornton Wilder

GRADE 11: ABC Murders by Agatha Christie
The Future of Us by Jay Asher

GRADE 12: Lifeboat by Charlotte Rogan
Why We Broke Up by Daniel Handler

Summer reading grades count as full test grades. Failure to do summer reading will adversely affect your first marking period grade. Be smart! Do the summer reading…..
